Andrea Holland, accounting manager for Lyman Morse Boatbuilding, Inc., has been named the new treasurer and bookkeeper for the Union of Maine Visual Artists. John Patrick Mullen, UMVA treasurer for the previous four months during a difficult transition, stepped down for health reasons and recommended Andrea, whom the Board of Directors approved unanimously.

Andrea, a Belfast native, brings seventeen years of experience from her time there and over a decade in accounting before that. She has a BS degree in Business Administration-Management from Husson College and a MS degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She already has experience with the QuickBooks accounting system used by UMVA and has been able to hit the ground running. For matters relating to billing and membership, Andrea may be reached at or through the website.
